Britney Spears and The Pussycat Dolls Concert!
Well, it's been awhile since I've put anything here. Seems I update my Facebook status more than I actually update things here.

I QUIT!
The time has come! As of Friday at 5:30 p.m., GuyOnTheAir will no longer be on the air in any way, shape, or form at the company he has worked at for almost 5 years.

Once Upon A Christmas Song
For the record, let me just say it right now. I LOVE CHRISTMAS! It's my favorite holiday, every year.
Oh my, that's so un-LA of me to say. I mean, you're not supposed to like Christmas when you live in Los Angeles. Christmas has too many spiritual and religious roots. You're supposed to like a devil's holiday like Halloween. (How dare I say that out loud!)
Oh well. Let's say it again, over and over and over again. I LOVE CHRISTMAS! See, I'm a person who truly believes that it's the most wonderful time of the year.
Having said all of that, I stumbled across this video this morning. You HAVE to see it. It's funny, and campy, and cute, and actually, pretty cool, I think.
First, watch the introduction. It's actually quite touching...
Then, without further ado, here she/it is, Geraldine Mcqueen!

Spam Headline Fail
Ever since I discovered Failblog a few weeks ago, I've been a HUGE fan. And, I always wished I had something to submit.
Well, I finally got just that something in my inbox this morning! While I don't claim this to be the best one ever, it did make me laugh out loud, something that most of the good fails manage to always do.
So, I've submitted it, and who knows. We'll see if they post it or not. I hope they do! And remember, comrades, you saw it here, first!
I have not followed, nor seen any of the Michael Moore movies. I don't know if I respect the man, or what I think about him. But I have to tell you, this clip makes me laugh, and makes me so very happy!

Is it just me, or does something smell funny?
My friend Jason convinced me to head to Magic Mountain for the afternoon. And since everybody seems to love my photos with "characters", here's the latest installment, taken with the TMD (Text Messaging Device, for those in-the-know.)
Well, this would be the latest installment, if I wasn't going to continue on the tradition of not having direct photos of GuyOnTheAir on this site. So, since I do indeed want to carry on that tradition, you'll have to get the fine photo at private.GuyOnTheAir.com.

I haven't laughed so hard in years...
Perhaps I'm the last person to know, but I never knew about FailBlog until just today. And it's hilarious. I spent hours laughing over all these pictures and videos.

Join the Mile High Club - CVS is here to help!
I was in CVS quite some time ago, carelessly browsing the cough and colds section, or some such, when I came across this, which made me bust up laughing.
But, it's nice to know that CVS is so helpful in making sure "size counts", just in case you need some "warming liquid" during your membership attempt.

PimpMySearch
Found a cool new Google wannabe. Actually, it's just a novelty site that plays with whatever text you give it, and spits out a Google-looking search site.

A blast from the past...
Ever wondered where "GuyOnTheAir" came from? Well, it was one of my first, and favorite jobs. While I still work in radio to this day, I haven't exactly been "on the air" regularly, well, at least my voice hasn't, in many years.
But, what did I sound like when I was on the air?
I dug up some old stuff, and thought I'd share a clip with you!

I think this is perhaps the grossest toilet ever...
I'm not a huge fan of public restrooms. But, I'm not afraid of them like some people I know, either. But, when they look like this, I really wanna steer clear. Unless I really gotta go...
This Alberto's, is home to one of the worst restrooms I've seen in some time... C'mon people. I just bought food...

I'm probably WAYYYY too entertained by this, I admit...
But for some reason, this struck me as terribly funny. (Yes, I am a child, apparently.)
This is from "ShopTalk: The TV News Industry's Insider Newsletter". Anyone else notice any problems?

A new take on kick the bottle...
Here's something pretty cool. I've often liked that if you blow in a bottle with a certain amount of water, it produces a note. But, this stunt takes it to a whole new level. How about a classical piece simply by hitting different bottles?

Here's a sight you seldom see...
I was at The Block at Orange, eating lunch and doing a little shopping the other day. As I rounded the corner, I couldn't help but take a second look.
Yes, I know this is silly. And yes, I've seen naked mannequins before, but for some reason, this merited special attention. Also, it caused me to laugh, on an otherwise stressful day, and I thought it was hilarious. I also wondered why I hadn't thought of doing it myself to mannequins before. (No, I did not going about pansing the mannequin. It had been done before I arrived.)
So, there they were, in all their glory. I'm sure Old Navy will be proud!
"Will It Blend?"
That's the question asked by a popular, yet unheard of (by me) campaign for Blendtec blenders. At their web site www.WillItBlend.com, Blendtec's CEO Tom Dickson asks that question many times. From iPhones to garden hoses, Tom tries to blend just about anything. And he's open to your suggestions, too.
My hats off to a company who decided that they'd grab hold of the "viral video" phenomenon and produce a bunch of stuff that could show off their blenders.
When I first saw WillItBlend.com this morning, and saw the Blendtec name, I knew I'd seen the name before. Back in the day I used to work at Starbucks, and they used Blendtec blenders to make all those Frappuccinos. So these things really work!
And just so you know, yes, it will most likely blend, as these aren't your $29 WalMart special blenders. These things cost $400.
(The site seems to be slow today, as I think they're getting a lot of traffic from people wanting to see if the iPhone will blend.)

Can you count the passes?
I stumbled upon a fascinating post on a Web site. Obviously, this was on Dateline, and such, so it's not THAT amazing or new, but I found it quite interesting, anyway.
So, can you count all the passes?
Check it out. And let me know how many you saw. I say there was...Oh, check it out, first.

A Sunday of Fun!
My friends Jason and Adam were available on Sunday afternoon for a little bit of trouble. But, we had a great time, short on trouble.
First off, was lunch at Barney's, at Sherman Oaks Fashion Square.
Then, we were off to The Japanese Garden, part of the Tillman Water Reclamation Plant. Yep, you get wafts of "reclamation" as you walk the gardens.
Finally, we stopped off at Sherman Oaks Castle Park, which as you might have guessed, is a great spot for kids and adults alike. We played a game of miniature golf. Jason won; Adam came in last.
Then it was back to our homes for relaxing and chores. It was truly a very fun day!
